Your Business is changing, how are you support the emotional impact of change?
The way in which businesses operate will change beyond recognition in the next few years and those changes have already started during Covid-19 lockdown.
Employees are starting to consider where, when, why and with whom they work.
They are increasing looking to work with businesses which offer flexible working options as well as those business which connect with their personal values and need for social innovation.
The future has already started with businesses, moving towards flexible working to give employees an improved work life balance and the introduction of smaller flexible teams who are apt at responding to fluctuating workloads and short time frames.
Bringing small remote teams of people together to work on specific projects, then disbanding as projects conclude and change, increases the expertise base, meaning more skills are available as and when they are needed.
This way of working works well when team members trust each other, are motivated, they know what is expected and feel confident to flag issues.
They will be high performing and self-sufficient, with honed digital skills and the ability to think creatively and critically to solve complex issues.
With all these changes some of your team members may not cope well with change and new ways of working and will need support to navigate the emotional impact of change.
Working remotely can be lonely without the companionship of a team, team members may need support to manage this, as well as upskilling to able to work with increased autonomy.
Business change is nothing new and over the years I have worked with businesses and their teams to successfully navigate the emotions and behaviour changes needed, designing training interventions and 1:1 coaching support, to make the transition through change less bumpy.
If you need inspired insightful learning solutions, to successfully navigate change and get your people on track to deliver your business goal, then get in touch.
