When I'm out on a hike I often think ,"What lead me this way?"
Yesterday I set off with #billythepup and my camera with the intention to take pictures.
I was drawn to my favourite tree, King Yew a very special tree, standing proudly on his own, deep in the middle of a deciduous wood and It's very rare to see another person.
However It was here I met Lisa Saunders.
She was filming and taking photos. We chatted about her work as an artist and connecting with nature.
She invited me join her using the natural materials on the forest floor to create something on the paper. I accepted, it's not everyday you get the opportunity to work with an artist.
The experience was unexpected, definitely random and very enjoyable.
I created art in the wood!
I have always believed things happen for a reason.
How you react, your willingness to take new direction, your open mindedness and the decisions you make from these opportunities create your life's path. Possibly even your destiny.
So my advice?
Always trust your intuition if you feel the urge to take a path take it and grab the opportunities along the way.
That's what's life's about synchronicity, chance meetings and opportunities
